Twinkle Holiday Parade at Disneyland

with Tiffany’s Dance Academy

  • November 2016

    I performed in my first Disneyland parade with my studio, Tiffany’s Dance Academy.

  • November 2017

    I danced in the Twinkle Holiday Parade, which opened Disney’s Christmas Fantasy.

  • November 2018

    My senior year of high school, I performed in the Twinkle Holiday Parade one last time.

  • November 2022

    I assisted with the annual holiday parade and walked along the parade route with the dancers.

 What I did:

    • Learned parade route choreography in rehearsals leading up to the performance

    • Attended and danced in dress rehearsals

    • Received feedback from Disney cast members prior to performing

    • Participated in a mock Disney audition and received personal feedback from a Disney cast member

    • Danced down Main Street USA!

What I learned…

  • How parade dancing differs from stage performances

  • Performance skills

  • What Disney looks for when casting parade performers

  • Endurance and stamina required for parade dancing

  • That a smile goes a long way :)

  • That I want to dance for Disney one day!
