Vice President of Chapman Cru

 What I did:

    • Brainstormed club events

    • Planned and executed social events including S’mores Night, Beach Hang, Cru Hikes, Games & Guac, Cru Formal, and A Night at Hogwarts

    • Contacted 60+ incoming freshmen to invite them to Cru

    • Attended monthly student leader meetings

    • Participated in yearly student leader retreat (planned for upcoming year)

    • Met with co-leader once a week to discuss plans for upcoming meeting

    • Created Bible study structure

    • Asked thought-provoking questions to initiate conversations

    • Supported and mentored freshmen girls

    • Led meetings through prayer, discussion, and group activities

    • Met weekly with co-leader to plan upcoming meetings

    • Designed slide decks for announcements, content, and worship

    • Selected and led ice breaker games

    • Emceed weekly meetings

    • Attended leadership training hosted by Chapman University for all student organizations

    • Reserved rooms on campus for weekly meetings

    • Contacted department of student organizations to complete required procedures

    • Booked locations for social events

    • Attended Fish Interfaith Meetings as the representative of Cru (mandatory weekly meetings for all religious clubs to attend)

    • Maintained effective communication with Cru staff and executive board/students leaders
